SWARM, ranked 755th by market capitalization, jumped 904% to $0.0261, the sharpest move of any coin tracked across LoopWire's market data Saturday. The rally came alongside a cluster of double-digit and triple-digit gains among mid-cap tokens that dominated trending searches: Starknet's STRK surged 55.5% to $0.1155, Celestia's TIA climbed 25.4% to $0.609, and Aerodrome Finance jumped 17% to $0.940. NEAR Protocol also drew heavy search interest, rising 6.5% to $5.30, a move confirmed by its appearance on the broader gainers list as well, where it rose a separate 5.4% to $5.31.

The localized frenzy stood in contrast to the total crypto market, which fell 2.27% over 24 hours to $2.82 trillion, with $45.4 billion in trading volume. Bitcoin dominance held at 59.1% of the total market while the largest cryptocurrency itself was essentially flat, edging up 0.5% to $82,977. That divergence — a handful of smaller tokens posting outsized gains while the aggregate market cap declined — points to rotation into speculative altcoin plays even as broader risk appetite cooled.

Among coins ranked in the top 50, Figure Heloc led gainers with a 6.4% rise to $1.065, followed by payments token Rain, up 6% to $0.0109, and NEAR's 5.4% advance. Uniswap added 3.8% to reach $7.67, and Bittensor rose 3% to $284.96. On the losing side, MemeCore dropped 5% to $0.975, Quant Network fell 4.4% to $237.86, and Canton slipped 2.4% to $0.1197. Two stablecoin-like assets, BlackRock's BUIDL fund and Circle's USYC, were unchanged at $1.00 and $1.14 respectively, as expected for tokenized cash-equivalent products.

The SWARM spike is the standout story of the day given its scale: a 904% move on a token ranked outside the top 700 by market cap is an extreme outlier even by crypto's volatile standards, though it carries none of the market-moving weight of a major-cap rally. Starknet's 55.5% jump and Celestia's 25.4% gain are more consequential given their higher rankings — 86th and 108th respectively — suggesting renewed interest in layer-2 and modular blockchain infrastructure tokens specifically, rather than a market-wide risk-on shift. With 22,139 active cryptocurrencies tracked and the total market down more than 2% on the day, Saturday's action reads as a narrow, speculative run-up concentrated in a small basket of names rather than a broad rally.
